Do any of you transport your xr650r inside a full size van? I have an 89 ford extended with a cavernous interior, and at least 48" high at the rear and side openings. Probably 54" high overall inside. Does anyone have a measurement from the ground to the grips?

I'm about to go pick up my new ride and need to know if I'll be able to fit it in  I'm so excited!

Thanks, Mokes

Mokes,

It should fit. I've loaded my pig into a friends Ford van(can't remember year for sure but it was mid 80's), and didn't have a problem. As I recall we just used an extra tie-down to compress the front forks, (run from handlebars to bottom of fork) and chucked it in.

Enjoy that new ride!
