I read some of the thread where you people bash quads. I've never seen such utter arrogance in my life. Nice to know there are total jerks out on the trails. Next time a guy on a dirtbike flies by me at 50 mph on a trail I'll be sure he understands it takes a lot of skill to do what he's doing and he's a jerk for doing it.

Yeah and I'm outta here before you ban me. Oh and I'll stay off the single track if you stay off the trails I ride. If I feel like rutting out your precious trails you claim for your own I'll be sure to dig a little deeper because of what I read here.

Dirtbikers, quad riders, mountainbikers....all have fools riding them who dont have a clue what they are doing. People with no regard for the sport or the environment.

The majority of them seem to be on quads. So sorry. You blazing single track because your offended by a strangers comments is absurd.

The kid that mows my lawn is all into quads. After talking to him for awhile about it I figured out he is a complete idiot when it comes to common sense. I wouldn't dare allow him to have 2 less wheels!

I'm not saying ALL quad riders are that way.... Just the ones I've met and I've met plenty...

Although I haven't ridden a quad since I was a kid, I also don't understand why there is so much quad bashing...I wouldn't think about getting a quad, but why complain to those who do? We are all out there just having fun, so why do you guys have to bash them all the time?

I have no personal vendetta against quad riders, but dumb people suck, and from what I have read, there seems to be a high percentage of quad riders that fall into that category.

Well we're sick of having trails closed to us and the beer-drinkin', backward cap wearing, spinning donuts in the parking lot 4-wheelers are to blame. The sport quad guys usually behave themselves......to an extent.
We're SICK of it and you are now hearing about it. Behave yourselves and you won't hear us complain one bit!

It seems to my like this topic has been beaten to death.

In my family we mostly ride motorcycles but we also have quads. I don't take any offense to peoples comments about quads because I don't feel they are directed at me. We are careful and don't act like boneheads.

I guess those of you who are getting really upset must realize that you are doing everything you are being accused of.

quad in genral are getting a bad name, from the morrons riding with no helmets then killing them selves doing wheelies on roads....thats from coping us sportbike guys, thats a whole dif story its self. atv sales have out grown dirtbike motorcycle and what not, its taken off like a wild fire. i have no problem with atvs, 3wheelers and or dirtbikes. what pisses me off if your young kids, the 14-25 age it seems and then some of the older riders with the F*ck everything ill do what i want. that attidtude closes down my free riding land in 1997, a year later everyone faught and got it back for a price of 200 a year.....its better now but we lose half the riding land, thousand of free coal acres. as far quad i like them and i think TT should have more forms for them not just the new honda 450R forum and the yamaha 450 i think.

so just stop ragging on everything it may help to shut up about things

Here is my take. For the past three years I have been flying an EMS helicopter for a living. In all that time I have never picked up a person injured riding a dirt bike. However I can't count the number of quad riders I have picked up, usually in the middle of the night, drunk, and having recently had their helmetless head cracked open when the quad landed on it. Doesn't mean people don't get hurt riding dirt bikes too, just we only get called when they are seriously f***ed up. I don't have anything against quad riders, it just seems they do a good job bashing themselves up from my experience.
