Well, after riding my '02 CRF450 for the past 2 seasons, I think its time for me to get a new bike. Right now I'm leaning towards getting an '05 KX250 or a new CRF450.

I'm a little bit of a bigger guy (6'1", 220lbs) so horsepower might be an issue, but I honestly think either of these bikes will get me around the track pretty easily. I ride mainly MX and race throughout the summer, but still occassionaly hit some trails just to stay true to my roots

Anywho, does anyone know if there are any 2005 bikes tests out there yet? I've seen a fewindividual evaluations, like on racerxill.com, dirtrider.com and transworldmx.com, but none of those give horsepower numbers or compare the bikes back to back yet.

I'm really considering going back to the 2-strokes because I feel like I got too lazy on the 450 because the power is always right there and I didn't have to do much to go fast. I know, not exactly a bad thing , but not the most exciting thing either. I think going back to a 2-smoker just might get me back to the excitement level I once had, but then I wonder if it will have enough power to haul my fat around the track without beating the crap out of it.
