Found this bike for sale for 2800. Has 1600 miles and in excellent condition. Was thinking of getting for my wife. She has a DRZ400 right now and rides good but wanted a smaller bike for her for when we go on thight trails or out west to the rockies.

Know nothing about this bike so fill me in. Is it ok for trails or not. And ya I won't pay that price but tell me what you would give for it. Now be straight forward with you opinion.

Thanks

it's a good beginner bike, tho not for someone really small and light on technical trails. the suspension is pretty soft and not at all oriented towards any brisk riding, but it will go places. the torquey engine and low first gear (and e-start) are nice. it weighs around 250-ish probably, ours felt essentially the same weight as my klx300. it is geared tall enough to actually ride on a hwy at 60-65mph.

i pretty much got started in off-road riding on that bike, and i was impressed with how well it held up. as long as the weight isn't an issue (and it's plenty lighter than a drz) and you're not in a hurry, it's a versatile and reliable rig.
