breaking in and engine

does motomans break in secrets apply to 2 strokes as well. i need to know if the "no synthetic oil during break in" still applies when breaking in a sled.

They say with the new motors that you can run synthetic oil for break-in. Thats why the corvettes come with it from the factory. But at the factory they break it in slightly. I will only run a high quality dino oil for break-in, not full synthetic or blend.

I run 2 strokes with synthetic oil from the start. Most modern 2 stroke oil is synthetic.

I run them like they were someone elses from the minute I get them.

right on. i don't usually break in engines with synthetic but this sled had some syn. in it and i didn't even think about it being dino or synthetic untill after the first ride.
