I bought a used 2003 CRF450 and the previous owner mentioned that it had Renthal Carmichael bend bars. I am very uncomfortable in the "attack" or standing position on the bike and think the bars may be part of the problem. I am almost 6'2". Can anyone give advice on this - would the Renthal Button bend bars be a better choice. Are there other issues/tips to help dial in riders compartment? Thanks for the help.

Well ricky is around 5' 8" i believe, so maybe a higher bend would be better?

What sort of riding are you doing? I do a lot of trail riding and I prefer to stand a lot..being 6'4" I went with the Moose Bars with the Berlson bend. I also use a set of tall clamps to make it easier for me to stand...

No problem...also if you find clamps that allow you to move the bars forward...For big guy like myself, it's just more comfortable. I also use a GPR which is nice, a lot less fatigue in the arms when I use it.
