Let me first apologize for not looking up this in the owner's manual, as I'm overseas and will be home in two weeks. Just trying to get a head start on some thoughts about refreshening the engine.

My question is, if I am wanting to rebuild the motor to include pulling the head, replacing the piston and rings, and the rod and associated bearings, can I replace the crank pin and rod without splitting the cases? I really don't want to split them, but my WR motor blew because of a split rod.

Thanks in advance!!
