Valve cover gasket sealer???

I just got done adjusting the valves(2000 400F)should I use any type of sealant on the valve cover gasket? if so....seal it to the cover , to the head or both? What type of sealer? Yamabond?

dont use any sealant. the rubber seal will take care of the job. if you use sealant it will just make a mess and probably start leaking. Plus, small pieces of sealant could break off on the inside of the valve cover and get into the engine, possible clogging and important oil passage.
