Who makes a Tachometer for the street pig (XR650L)? I would like to get one. Is there a rev limiter on these bikes?

Thanks, Babbs

Yes. VDO makes a nice looking two inch model. Lighted also.

I'm going to take a guess that a tach is unnecessary since power drops off significantly before the rev limiter kicks in.

see i was very curious about this when i read this other thread. <----clicky. seems to me that the VECTOR would be the better computer to have because of the remote capabilities. see trail tech computers here vapor has a tach, vector has a remote.

::edit:: maybe a tach would be nice at high speed when you can't here yourself think, let alone engine noise:excuseme:

Trailtech Vapor works nicely, revlimiter is at about 7500 or so.
