question for those with baja kits installed

I took my headlight and signal flasher out a few weeks ago and went to put the flasher back on last night and imagine this, I forgot which way it connected. It has two connectors AND it works connected both ways. Will it eventually fail if connected wrong? What is the proper connection? Thanks.

Chris,

I don't know if it matters how they are connected but here are the instructions from the manual.

The red wire goes to the terminal labeled"X" and the orange wire goes to the "L" terminal.

I am in the process of installing my second Baja Designs kit.My friend did not trust his own workmanship.

Thanks carver, that's exactly what I needed to know. I bought my bike and had the kit installed as part of a deal at a shop that took care of all the leg work in getting it street legal, sooooooo, I don't have a manual. Thanks again.
