I called my local dealer (get dissapointed every time I call) and had them qoute me a price on a replacement chain slider which protects the swing-arm from the chain for my XR 650L. $35 dag-um bucks! Does anyone know of an after-market place with a cheaper part?

Check Bajadesigns.com

BTW. You're from NW Ohio? Where? I'm from Toledo.. and have to deal with Honda East.. God they suck. Magnum Powersports about 10 miles away isn't too bad though.

Good luck.

I can't vouch for how well it works, but I have heard of guys cutting one out from an old tire.
