Honda Silver - frame color - where can I get it? Is it just a silver I can get at the local hardware store? Thanks

i hear that the paint will chip all over if you just paint it....powder coating it is much tougher...and will last longer...just my thoughts

I think its just an aluminum colored paint. Precision concepts uses it to paint their pegs after they weld to it.

yup, plain old paint will be chipping easily, I would think...old Hondas used to spray a clearcoat over their silver, dont know about this newer stuff ... IF it was me, and had the bike all the way down to the frame ... I would weld some small gussets on all the frame weak spots, and take it to a good powder-coater...if done right, will last a lifetime ...
