Hey folks,

It seem that while running the rocky section of the Shennendoah 500, eariler this month, I ripped the rear disc brake guard and the welded mounting tabs off my swing arm on my XR650L. Besides removing the swing arm and having both mounting tabs replaced, does anyone know of other options I can persue. I have the mentality that if I remove the swing arm I might as well rework the bushing and piviots while it is apart. I do not have that kind of money now. Your thoughts would be helpful.

There was someone, scotts was it? that makes a guard that comes with a new axle spacer, and the guard mounts to the spacer- in fact, I think the guard is part of the spacer. It looked pretty indestructable.
