I am now the proud owner of a 02 XR650R, and I love it. I didn't get home until after dark, but the easy ride around the block made me realize that this thing rocks!!!... The last bike I had was a DR350, and this feels like twice the bike, although a bit heavier. I'm ordering all ofthe goodies for it tomorrow. I can't wait to get her broke in, and see what she'll do...

Picked mine up 2 weeks ago, had all the goodies ahead of time,(pipe, triple clamps, bars.etc.) just sitting in the garage. Always wanted to do that, magazine style, where you throw on $1000 worth of aftermarket parts on a new bike with less then 1/2 a mile...Had it out 2 weekends in a row, going out this Sunday to California City...
Bike hauls ass!
