Carburetor setting for xr 600 ?

I´m a swedish rider. I´ve recently bougth an -97 xr 600 with a standard silencer, whitout the endcap.
I´t feel like the engine is getting to much fuel.
The carburetor is set to #162 and #62.
Anyone with experience who could help me out?

Put a 68 or 70 in for the pilot. You are most likely fine with the larger main. Just adjust the air screw about 2 turns out.

what are the symptoms of the bike to lead you to think it is to rich? the stock pilot is #58 and main is # 152
