Vegas Area Rides?

Recommended Posts

hey,

I'm new to the list. Myself and several other dualsport nuts are heading to Las Vegas for the Antique Motorcycle Auction, over this coming weekend. We're taking the XRs, and I was wondering if anybody here had any good ideas for places to ride in the Vegas area?

Thanks

go up vegas blvd or I-15 north to craig, left on craig and go up to jones, make a right on jones and then make a left on ann, take ann all the way to the end, its a T intersection with a power line pole across the road, u can find all the trails up there and its some of the best, private message me if u want more areas

My father and i ride EVERY weekend. I'm slow but my father is one fast old man (over 55). He owns las vegas computers and can ride mid week with enough advance notice. We always welcome any visiting riders heading this way. Just decide what kind of trail ride your looking for and he can give you the 2 cent tour. He does a lot of scenic stuff (mostly because he is tiring of torturing me) but prefers the 200 mile trail ride that goes on trails that scare mountain goats and areas that if you dont have to drag your bike across a couple boulders.....it just wasnt cool enough. Are you and your dad ever up for a ride/guide trade? I live about 2.5 hours from Vegas in Apple Valley, Ca. and know many miles of good stuff. I prefer to ride somewhere between scenic and 200 mile gnarly. I haven't ridden in southern Nev. except on that leg of the old Barstow to Vegas race.

Let me know. I can generally ride Fri or saturdays and have a street licensed W.R.
