I was at Lake Isabella and the bike just would not start. Had the whole day planned to dual sport. When i got home @ see level it started the first kick which is rare for that bike. Any suggestion for the next time.

DID YOU TRY TURNING IN YOUR FUEL SCREW TO LEAN IT OUT A BIT?
I'VE HAD SOME PROBLEMS WITH MY 01'WR426 AS WELL, FINALLY WENT TO A #40 PILOT JET AND FUEL SCREW 1 1/4-1 1/2 TURNS OUT. I RIDE AT 3500 AND ABOVE MOST OF THE TIME. WAS A TIME WHEN MY BIKE WOULD ONLY START WITH THE HOT START WHEN COLD.

ALWAYS carry a spare plug and change it out if it won't start.
