do you have to kick hard in the morning when the bike cools down ?

otherwise pics worth keeping on the HDD ?

It takes a little effort to get the bike running during the winter. Down to about -30 I start by turning the idle screw up a turn, lotsa acc pump squirts, kick 2ce, usually fires on the 2nd kick and runs for 2 or 3 seconds. It seems like it just burns up the acc squirt. I repeat the squirts and kicks and gradually the engine runs longer and longer each time until it'll finally stay running. It doesn't usually take more than 10 cycles. Any colder than -30 and I usually pre-heat the rads with a heat gun for 5 minutes or so.

Simch, yes there are more dogs than people and unfortunately the sled is towing the bike in that pic. I got caught in a light blizzard and spent the night about 20 miles outta town. S&R found me the next morning and dragged me back to town but wouldn't rescue the bike. They gave me the GPS co-ordinates and I went out on my sled a week later and towed it back to town and that's when I took the pic. Here's the cozy spot where I spent the night.
