What is the proper jet size/setting for a 1997 XR600 for riding between 7,000 and 13,000 feet? I live at 8,000 and do most of my riding between 8,000 and 10,000 feet.

Thanks.

Volk, I ride at about 4000'+ and have used the following jets in my 94 XR600...Pilot-68....Main-155. I have an aftermarket pipe and a K&N air filter. I must say, my bike flat hauls with this jetting. My brother in Colorado uses the same jetting, he rides at higher elevations. I think this would be a good starting point. I got it from a Dirt Bike article a few years back. It was the jetting recommended by Scott Summers, DB used the same pilot, 160 main.
