Anyone ever mangle their cover thrust and seal guard?

This is the part the chain runs through and is bolted to the bottom of the swingarm. I bent the [@#$%&*!] out of mine and hammered it so the chain does not rub any more. The inner seal guard is worn through on one side, does it matter, the bottom is sill good? Thanks in advance for any help. Cheers S. Bike is an 04 wr 450

I would replace the whole unit with a TM designs unit that is all hard plastic! Scrap that thing or you may end up breaking your chain out in the woods. :thumbsup:
