Gray Wire Purpose?

i just Bought a 2000 WR 400 and i would like it to be faster. I've already done the throttle stop and plan on putting a titanium pipe on it. but im not sure about cutting the gray wire, i need to know what it does first. :thumbsup:

The gray wire changes the ignition mapping from WR (connected) to YZ. (cut, disconnected)

You will most likely have to change the timing of the exhaust cam to YZ specicfications to notice a big difference from low end power (WR) to higher end power (YZ).
