sounds like they fixed the chain slider problem. They used to not have any foam under them and the bolts that clamped it down wouldn't hold it in place so it would shimmy back and forth and over time wear a groove into the swingarm. Sounds like you're good to go!

I just replaced the chain slider on my 03 450 - no problems at all with swingarm wear -- ?
