Hello all,
I’m looking at purchasing a new exhaust for my '04 YZ450, but I need some honest feedback from those that have already replaced theirs. I ride mostly MX and some trails with my family, so the silencer would have to have an optional quiet core insert w/ spark arrestor. I’m looking at the Yoshimura TRC Ti Pipe or the Two Brothers Racing C7 V.A.L.E. YZ450F Exhaust.

My last bike had a FMF PWR bomb feeding a Thunder Alley silencer (Way to loud!!!!)

My '03 has a full FMF Ti4 with a bomb and a 17" can. Never been measured, but it seems a bit quieter than stock, sounds good, and has a wider, smoother power delivery than the OEM system. Quiet cores and arrestors are available. FMF also makes the Q series which a lot of the guys here have said good stuff about.

You might consider the Dubach D-shaped model.
Comes with spark arrestor and you can get the quiet core if you want further "silence". Seat of the pants dyno says it will add some low-mid and not affect top end too much. It is quieter than stock without the quiet core.

Best for me was the overall length is significantly shorter than stock.

Good stuff.
