Tips needed on replacing clutch cable

I couldnt find anything in the manual about replacing the clutch cable, maybe its because its so damn simple; i just dont want to screw it up. 2001 yz426. I'm also replacing perch and lever. thanks.

I just did mine. I can recomend a pivot assisst lever and a venhill(??) cable. The clutch on my 01 426 is now ultra light. The only downside of the pivot assist lever is that it needs a fraction more travel to disengage.
Procedure: release the adjuster at the bars, remove the cable end. Release the adjuster at the crankcase, remove the cable. Fit new cable making sure you route it the same way as the old one. Adjust both ends for a few mm of freeplay at the lever
