How do you create the tension neccesary to return the kickstarter, I have replaced the spring but can't figure out how to wind up the spring. Thanks for your help.

I dunno, but the manual doesn't say anything about winding the spring. It just says to place one end of the spring into the hole on the shaft and the other hooks to a tab on the engine cases (if I'm reading it correctly). If you would like some pages from the manual shoot me a PM.
