I heard that you have change the piston every 10,000 miles!!! Is that true? :thumbsup:

that all depends on how you ride it and the oil you use and how often you change the oil but most likely yes because thats alot of miles on a high rpm motor but I would put an athena piston in it any way :thumbsup:

a piston has to be replaced when it's worn out. 10 miles or 10,000 miles. if you get 10,000 miles out of a top end, you're doing great. stop and think how much riding that is. unless you've got some big plans, it'll take you several years to get those miles. by then you'll be ready for a new bike and you can pass it on to the next owner.
