Funny Little Flap in the Carb

Hey There...

Was talking to Baja Designs just the other day and they had mentioned that it would be a good idea if I changed that funny little choke flap in the XR to one of there CNC'd ones ($30) Cuz ut will brak off someday and cause extensive engine damage.

Is this true? Is this a reasonable price to pay?

This applies to the stock carb, so if you've got the stock carb, then yes, it has happened to a very small number of people over the years and it can cause some serious damage. You can either remove the choke flap all together and run without a choke or buy their choke flap if you want to play it really safe.
