I just got a 2001 wr426 which I paln to run street & trail (Have a baja designs kit coming). I live in NJ so it is not too hot. I typically use Yamalube 20-40W in my Raptor, but only use it for trail. I am thinking of synthetic as it may hold up better for limited street use. Any suggestions?

Amsoil synthetic 10W40 or 0W40 motorcycle oil is an excellent choice.

I switched mine to red cap too, right after break in. Synthetic oil is wear proof...
