just recently traded up from dr350 to a 2002 yz426 what a blast fogot how much i love speeeed!my question is about gearing ive been told by droping 1 tooth on the front gear is like adding 3 to the rear is there any truth to this. by the way this is a class A WEB SITE :thumbsup::thumbsup:

yep, one down on the front is 2 up on the rear. the front is much easier to change,if you don't like the gear you can go back to the original gearing, on my 01 yz 426 I droped one down on the front & one up on the rear, I trail ride only, & need the lower gearing for the roots & sand washes. :thumbsup:
