Where does the weight difference come from.

engine, frame, less oil, swingarm, different brakes (rear) different airbox, seat and tank. Lots of changes

Don't forget the big one, the gear box.... yz450 is a 4 speed folks... and 4 on the floor works just fine let me tell ya... great bike... once you get over the howl of the clutch that is...
