Men talking in their sleep...

Recommended Posts

How many husbands/etc. talk in their sleep after an exciting (stressful) day and/or after riding all day??

Dang, I've had to sleep on the couch two nights in a row cause he's talking about water and other dumb stuff. ?

Does anybody else deal with this and what do you do about it??

Uh, well, I'm actually the one who talks in my sleep. My bfriend finds it extremely entertaining. I think he thinks that he can get info from my subconscious so he's admited to trying to talk to me while I'm talking in my sleep. He says sometimes I laugh hysterically. I used to walk in my sleep to. Is this a sign of a disturbed person?

Ha ha! This is a good one! When my boyfriend is really charged up about something, I hear about it during the day and he talks about it in his sleep too. Full-on coherent sentences. Usually I can go right back to sleep so it doesn't bother me, but when he was looking at new tools and all I heard about 24-7 (literally) was tools, that got a little old. I like to mess with him once in a while and pretend he said something incriminating in his sleep. ?

When we were first married I used to mess with him...BUT he'd get mad in his sleep because I was laughing at him and kinda scared me.

I had a Puerto Rican guy working for me. Puerto Rican women are the most jealous women on the planet.

One morning I see my worker all lumped up. I asked him what happened and he said he had mentioned another womans name in his sleep and his wife went pyscho on him. He said he was lucky she couldn't find a knife.

This post brought back memories! My ex-husband was/is a police officer and after an especially stressful day, he'd inevitably dream about getting in a shooting. He'd thrash around, say weird stuff that didn't make any sense and occasionally jump up out of bed really to kick some ass! It used to kind of worry me...I thought I was gonna get smacked a few times! ?

On the plus side, the cat quit sleeping on the bed. I guess she was tired of getting kicked all night.

? I love it when dogs do that! It's sooooo funny! My little hound dog sort of bayed in her sleep the other night but since her mouth wasn't open at the time, it came out really funny...with her big old lips flapping! She also occasionally wakes herself up when she farts.

My brother in-law, had quad-druple heart by-pass surgery. During recovery, they told my sis they had grave concerns that he was having some type of reaction from the drugs. When she went in to look at him she started giggling. She told them "That's not a drug reaction, he's just playing ball" He started playing ball when he was old enough to pick up a bat, and ended up play for the nantional champion softball team. He play second base and will always be taking grounders in his sleep. ?

i am also the one who talks, laughs, and walks in my sleep as well. i'll walk all over the house with my eyes open, but i am still asleep. its scary. i don't think that means that you are a disturbed person ?. haha :awww::devil:?:D

lol....my son does that! He's 10. Sometimes he'll just cry like he's having a nightmare. It's scary....It's a very helpless feeling. But hey, he's got good manners.....even when he's sleepwalking he actually knocks on our bedroom door and waits for us to answer. :D?

I'm the talker in our relationship. I speak very clearly and in full sentences. I also have race dreams where I ride my dirt bike in bed. My husband on the other hand mumbles and giggles. It almost seems like he's flirting with another girl. Can't have any of that now can we ?

Im a guy so I cant say anything about the husband thing but all my friends talk in there sleep.

The night before a ride we usualy stay at my friends house because hes the only one with a trailer, we're only 16 so we cant really buy trailers right now.

Im usually up later than the rest of them and they jsut start talkin. I cant stop laughin when they start either. I dont stop them cause I dont wanna wake them up but it is so funny.

One of them talks in spanish or something, one tells me to do things and almost holds entire conversations but wakes up half way through.I tell them the next day and niether of them remember a thing, sometimes the one that wakes up halfway through does but usually not. just thought Id share that.
