Yall are both wrong it was genuine yamaha tuning. heck i would have never known till i bought a 70 dt-1 250 a couple weeks ago. IN the onwers man. it tells how to strip it down and the parts that gyt had to offer to up the performance. ?

Actually, Yamaha manufactured musical instruments before motorcycles, hence the tuning forks.

Doug Domokos. I saw him wheelie an entire MX track, up and over the jumps, whoops, the lot.? Slow and steady, but he did a whole lap ?

And before anyone else jumps in, I know he had a small electric motor to drive the front wheel, to keep up the gyroscopic effect, and therefore make it easier to wheelie for longer. If you do a search on TT you'll probably find Brandons pic's, otherwise PM him, i'm sure he wouldn't mind sending you some. The IOM races started in 1907. In an enduro, the emphasis is on consistency through the various section (stages) I beleive, staying on time, rather than outright speed. Don't know the answers to the rest ? Must sleep now
