XR600R - Keihin carb slide sticks, throttle sticks off idle

Can't you loosen the clamps and rotate the carb for access to the top cover? I don't know how the XR250 varies from a 600. I'm sure that more specific information can probably be found in the XR250/400 forum.

i'll take a gander. thanks for the help. how often and how much oil do u put on the slide?

Got a used 95 XR600 yesterday. The thing was an arse to ride slowly! Playing catchup with the carb had me jerking back and forth. i imagine this is what is going on?



Only got to ride one day as there is a massive oil leak out of the base gasket :-(

So engine out....
