My bike was idling the other day and when I would pull the throttle, I notice fire from the exhaust. Is this normal? First time I have seen this.

my friend has a yz 400 and i was riding it today and sometimes when i would nail the throttle it would shoot fire because these bikes dont have spark arrestors

I have a White Brothers R4 exhaust on it with a spark arrestor.

If the r4 is allowintg flames to shoot out that will happen its Sparks it deflects. If the screen is intack.

If indeed it is flaming out the back its due to gas buildup in the exhuast or you may have a burnt or Open Exhaus Valve.

Need to chk compression levels if down a top end tear down is due
