Can someone post what the background colors mean for desert racing. I think that in motocross black is 125 class, white is 250 class and yellow is open class. But how do they go in desert racing?

It depends on what you mean by desert racing!! :)

If you are considering WORCS races the Blue w/yellow #'s are NTL' guys (PRO's)

In district 26 here are ours........

Novice.......Green backgrounds / white #'s
Amatuer......Yellow/black combo
Expert.......Black/white combo

That is the easy part.......
Then you have the letters for class.....

P.....0/35...gotta stop and pee during the race
s.....o/40...just about xxxx my pants when i hit that big ol' woweeee!!
M.....o/ HELL what am I doing riding 90miles???? :D
Z.....o/50...I had to take a nap at marker 40!! :D
A.....125.....Always siezing up!!!
No letter......OPEN class

Most people run the # assigned to you at the end of the last race season.
You are assigned a number by total # of pts in YOUR class!
All divisions (ex/am/nov) are compiled for the # assignment. :D
