I have a 98 YZ400F and was wondering if any or all of the following parts from a 2000 YZ426F match up to my bike: rear swingarm, main frame, subframe. Thanks for the help.

The 00-01 would work fine. The frame is revised in the geometry from your 400.

The 02 has a new swingarm and the front pivot bolt is 18mm vs the previous years 17mm. So it would not work without the 02 cases or possible machining to your existing cases.

i think you can solve that problem by just machining the bushings that go into the back of the motor can't you?

So a 2000 426 frame will work? There won't be any surprises installing the motor, swingarm, forks, etc.? In what areas has the frame been revised?
