Dust seal spring thinger.

I sorta messed up one of my dust seal spring things, one side is stretched out. Any way to go about making it unstreched?

those springs some of them you can unscrew them. If you look close ath the spring you mah see the ends that connect.

Unscrew the ends, cutt off a few MM's and then screw it back in.

NOTE MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT CUT THE MALE END

Well, how might you unscrew it? I see where it connects but I have no idea how to take it apart.

you should simply be able to roll the spring in your index and thumb.

hold the spring in both hands Male side on right hand

the twist with left index Forward while twisting left Index Toward you

Yea, just a few minutes ago I got that. You saved me life. I was about to go to the old saftey wire.
