I turned 59 last month. I thought I would grow old gracefully and I have.......sort of. I just haven't grown up. I am the "kid" of the group that I normally ride with. A 65 year old, one 67 and the really old fart at 73. And they are all great riders, mostly because the have sooooo much experience! :naughty:

Just this year my knees started bothering me. I blame it on the fact that I started riding a sled, but maybe they're just starting to show signs of years of abuse. Everything else still works pretty good. :naughty:

I crushed an ankle a while back and the surgeon was debating whether to fuse it or not. He didn't but said I'd only have 5 to 10 years before arthritis set in. That was 23 years ago, constant abuse and still no trouble. Good doctor, good doctor. :naughty:

44, 45 in May. Knees have been gone for many years, but I still manage to ride it like I stole it most of the time. I have been riding dirt bikes for 38 years and I'm still getting slower! :naughty: :naughty:

I do a lot of cross country riding and I've noticed that if I just let the younger guys go, I'll dust them in 10 to 15 miles or so. I can ride a quick pace for a very long time... mostly because of age and experience.

Rode an invitational ride back in 99, my old friends and I started 498, 499 and 500 out of 500 riders. At the end of the day we were in the top 50! Not bad for some over the hill riders! :D

I'm 26, but havent been carded for cigarettes or alcohol since I was about 11, started balding at 19 (not much left these days) and have a mindset closer to a 46 year old than a 26 year old :naughty:
