Thats right, I just bought a brand new Husky and happened to look close at the side case "Kawasaki".  Talk about a disappointment.  I really didn't check into it much before buying and trusted their reputation... and now I'm stuck with this mongrel.  Oh, by the way, before you guys have a heart attack, this is the new Husky leaf blower.  I probably had some of you in a panic though, huh.  It still sucks.  I was expecting a "made in Sweden" sticker like the REAL Huskys.

Unless you get a 17 year old husky, it's not gonna be made in Sweden either. They've been Italian since 88.

Besides the Italy thing, all other Husqvarna products are made by a completely different company.  They have nothing to do with Husqvarna motorcycles or Cagiva.  Besides it's a leaf blower.  Who cares?  Also, it's a two-stroke so go away now!

Husky power equipment and motorcycles are two seperate entities.  Tools in szveden and bikes in Italy.

Yeah I know perfectly well where they are from, who they are now... but I will say the chain saws are still the real thing, none of this disguised Cagiva stuff.  I'm not slighting the Italians because I own one also and I'm not ripping the bikes either but someone gotta draw the line on what they put their name on. This was just a failed attempt at humor.  Lighten up a little or I will blow YOU away with this new toy(at least if it lasts long enough).

I bought my first Husky 4 stroke last year and it has a Honda motor(push mower). Husky Sweden bought a minority interest in Cagiva(MV Agusta) during the finacial restructuring. If you look at the Gunsight decal on the "04 front fender it is the old "narrow" H of Swedish Husky not the "squatty H of Italian Husky. A small nod to a United Brand Idenity. My dealer, Fran Bottone pointed this out to me.  Makes sense to me.

If I wanted to read about leafblowers and mowers, I'd type green_fingers.com or something. This is a Dirt bike central!
