426 valve adjustment

This may be a dumb question but here it goes. As the hours add up on the motor does the cam lobe/valve bucket gap get bigger or smaller? I've got 4 that are well within the factory spec and one that is just under spec ( the gap is just under the lower limit rather than upper limit) :thumbsup:

The gap will get tighter with time. As the valve and seat wears the valve sits lower in the seat (closer to the cam).
