Does Scotts make longer arms for their Dampers???

Recommended Posts

Thanks to Ron in So Cal, I'm the proud new owner of some 2000 triple clamps. One thing I neglected to think about (DOH:0) was the damper. I have the oil neck mount.

Since the damper will now be 10mm's further forward. Can I just get a new arm for the damper? Or will I have to order the steering head mount?

Bill

Bill,

I called Scotts when I wanted to move my bars from the number one position to the number 4 position (farthest away from the rider). You don't change the arm on the damper, as it's all done using different barclamps. They offered to exchange my barclamp for the one I needed for free, which saved me $65. Give them a call.
