I finally got rid of my FZ1 and am able to start looking at wr450's. It's looking like I'm going to end up driving to MS to buy from Lake Hill Motors unless I find a similar deal closer to home. Btw, I live in Central Florida.

In this thread OTD means selling price of the bike plus any registration fees, dealer prep and taxes.

My question is this, what did you go OTD for and where?

At the dealer I used to work at I got mine for $6K OTD. It was at Perrys Yamaha in Pascagoula, MS ph# (228)762-0280. They are right off of I-10 on Telephone road. Since you're heading that way anyway, check them out and tell them Paul in Puerto Rico told you about them. Just be sure to ask for Steve. He is the owners son and is easy to work with.

I have sent him several people buying FZ-1's and dirtbikes. His numbers are very very tough to beat. Another one to try is Palatka Yamaha. They just opened and are ready to make a name for themselves. Talk to David or Robert there, and again, tell them I sent you. I bout a pw80 for my daughter there for $1391 OTD.

I'm going to say no you didn't. The local dealer here wants retail for the bike plus $700 dealer prep. That would be like $7800 OTD. That's why I'm willing to drive.

I bought my O4 WR450 in Lakeland at PowerSports on Kathleen Rd. back in Nov 03. Paid 6759.00 OTD. It was the first one they got in and the only one available around central Florida at the time. Personally I don't like that shop, but they had the merchandise and I wanted it really bad.

You might try Orlando Yamaha on Hwy. 50 (Colonial Drive)

they are a lot better dealership. Also CaHills in Zephyrhills is a fantastic dealer. They didn't have one at the time I bought mine.
