check the gaskets. If they are the same part number, then yes. Otherwise no.

That means it does not interchange.

Even if the gasket mating surfaces line up, the flywheel and electronics are considerably different between the two models. I seriously doubt that the 450 flywheel cover will clear the 426 flywheel. You might ask around at a busy shop to see if they have one of each apart at the same time.
