It is WR thing, not YZ. Do a search in the WR forum, lots of info.

Some have done it on the yz, I have, and believe Shawn with the same result, None. Others have and say they no longer foul plugs.

I did not measure for any ohms change or disharge compairisons, between having it connected or not. Maybe some one can. But as for me, I did not see any advantage, I put it back
