Fork oil weight

Does fork oil get thicker or thinner as the number goes up? For example, is 10Wt. thicker or thinner than 20Wt.?

the higher the weight the thinner the oil. :)

oopps. scratch that. The higher the weight the thicker.

I'm pretty sure the lower the number the lower the viscosity (thinner). I believe the weight of the oil is a measurment of viscosity.
