rev limiter.

Do all WR400's have a rev limiter or do we just rev it till it sounds like it's gonna pop! Also do Canadian WR's have throttle limiter?

I belive even the YZ 400 has one, I read an article that asked "what about the rev limiter", the response was "what about it? face it, if you keep hitting the rev limiter on the bike, you probobly need to go back to a 2 stroke, the YZ makes loads of power on the bottom and mid range so just ride it a gear higer to stay off the rev limiter." I agree, the bike revs to an ungodly 13 + K RPM, more than a 4 stroke should be allowd to ? . Let it alone man, its there for your bikes well being, think of the pain of grinding your teeth when you dump the bike and somehow it lands with the throttle stuck wide open as you limp over to it fumbling for the kill switch :D

Nope, Canadian versions don't have the throttle stop and a few more weird restrictive things.....I forget what, but ours are the same as the Australians, minus a few lights(?).

there are two models i think. the american version & one for the rest.

you HAVE got a throttle stop. it's just that it only tries to stop the slide at the same time as it hits the top of the carb!!!

change your final ratio's if you want to protect your engine.

There is an ignition rev limiter. It's 10,500RPM for the dub-R, 11,500RPM for the YZf and 13,500 for the little thumper (250f)
