Except it is a 1968!

All original, and in great shape.

Looking forward to the ride home tonight!

Here are two pix of the actual machine that is in my garage. That was one FUN ride home! Talk about vibration....

Man thats awesome, just like old times.

That was the BIKE, when I first starting riding. All striped, that 500 single had some major power.

You think the YZ426 has a starting issue?

Can you imagine, all the whiner’s of today on that bike! :D

They all would be ? in the face, trying to start it.

Thanks, Hokie, now I feel much OLDER. :D

Dude Hokie;

You are on lucky dude. I will be keeping my eyes pealed for you around town. How's your knee, hope it's better. Give a shout when you might want to hook up for some riding, trails are clear up to about 10,500Ft. Got some sweet single track to show ya.

Peace!!

Dodger ?:D

Just for the record it is a Victor 441.

I started it up relatively easily. But then again, I don't have too much trouble with my 426 either!

Still not used to the shifter being on the right side and the brake being on the left. Makes for some interesting riding!

The knee is pretty good. Still twinges once in a while. Hopefully I'll be free after next weekend, I have ANOTHER bachelor party to go to next weekend, this time in Boston. I think I'm going to be pickled before this month is over.

Man that is a BEAUTY! :D

I love the older bikes!

Especially my 99' fourHUN F!!! :D

But surely you DO know why the Brits do NOT make CPU's ........don't you ???

?

CUZ THEY CANNOT GET THEM TO LEAK OIL!!!! :D

I can say that cuz I owned a 76' Triumph SPITFIRE!

Awesome car!

Man those Euro's have some WIERD ideas!

Suspension on the rear end of that car had a SOLO leaf-spring ----sideways---- and supported the whole rear end of that thing! :D

That is one clean BSA Hokie. I can't believe it's not drooling oil anywhere! How does it handle with that super short wheelbase?

Oh, it is leaking oil. It wasn't out long enough to get a puddle going on the driveway.

It handled great, easy to turn at slow speeds. But I was concentrating on making sure to use the left foot for braking so I was not too concerned about that aspect of it!

Ive got a 71 250 victor. Being an obsessed teen ager, I fixed all the leaks believe it or not. My dad told me it couldnt be done! Showed him ?

Ya gotta love the copper enhanced RTV. I wish I had a picture of that thing. I forward mounted the shocks, and put some 14.5" Mulhollands on it, and a Maico fork, it turned pretty good for what it was. Now it drips on my uncles garage.

A small trick I learned to keep things from leaking at a race, was to etch the cases with a exacto blade just enough to place a lip in the center of the case face. Plenty of Silicon (Enough to make Pamala Anderson Blush)

wont leak for at least tech inspection
