Hey everyone, I recently purchased a 99 400 back in Feb, little did I know it came with a spare engine. The guy said he thought he seized it but it broke loose. Does anyone no what should I do with it, or where to take it. I am from the dallas tx. area somewhere around here know these engines pretty good?

If you have some mechanical ability. Get the Yamaha manual that came with the bike. It's really thorough and walks you through a complete tear down and reassembly. You'll need a good torque wrench.
Good luck.
