needle

hey guys,

i hear by putting a yz 250f needle in the carb, it will prevent it fron bogging. is this true? and should i make this adjustment to my bike.

Jason (BlueThunder) is trying to refine using a 250 needle. He is using a OBELN. And with help from Taffy he thinks he has the set up now to run it. With the first try there was starting issues. But, I believe there is a answer. The PAJ needs to be changed to match. Try reading the post on the WR426 side titled (OBELN vs. OBEKN vs. OBDQR). From what Jason was saying about the first attempt once it was started it ran incredible in the low to mid range. But it needed a bigger main jet for the upper R's. ?
