Stalling problem

A buddy of mine has the same bike I do, YZ450F. We both have z-start automatic clutch installed. His bike wants to stall a lot especially when he just lets off the gas. I don't think it is a problem with the z-start. Could it be the spark plug? Or any other suggestions would be good.

Not a lot of info... but here are the most common causes that I know of for not idling well; dirty carb, poor jetting or fuel screw adjustment, valve clearances out of spec (no clearance, valve hanging open).
